Despite the difficult conditions in Gaza, the story of"Gaza Talents"
I am Salsabeel Al-Bardawil. I started my remote work journey in 2019 as a UI designer and digital marketer. Over the years, I worked with various companies and projects from around the world, and I always believed that Gaza has young people with tremendous energy, but they lack the support and space needed to launch.
During the 2023 war, with repeated displacement and electricity and internet outages, I noticed the significant challenges facing freelancers in Gaza. People with high skills and passion, but no means to reach the outside world, no job opportunities, no training, and no real support.
From here, I decided to launch the 'Gaza Talents' platform, aimed at empowering freelancers in Gaza, providing remote work opportunities, and free training courses to develop their skills and open doors that weren't possible before.
